Top 5 Social Apps on Android in Ukraine: Q3 2024 Performance

During the third quarter of 2024, the social app landscape on the Android platform in Ukraine exhibited a variety of trends in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. Here, we take a closer look at the performance of the top 5 social apps, with data provided by Sensor Tower.

Резерв+ from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine saw a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting at 124K in early July and decreasing to around 35K by the end of September. Despite this drop in downloads, weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 215K to 270K mark throughout the quarter.

TikTok experienced significant weekly revenue fluctuations, peaking at approximately $344K in the last week of September. Weekly downloads remained consistent, ranging from 50K to 69K, while active users hovered above 5M, indicating a solid user base.

The Дія app maintained a steady download rate, with numbers ranging from 31K to 45K. Active users showed a moderate increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching 1.6M in early September before stabilizing around 1.4M.

TikTok Lite - Save Data demonstrated a gradual increase in weekly revenue, culminating at $3.4K by the end of September. Downloads also rose, peaking at 45K in the final week. Active users remained consistently above 320K, with some fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Instagram displayed steady revenue, with weekly figures generally around $1K to $1.8K. Download numbers varied between 28K and 39K, showing a slight increase towards the quarter's end. Active users saw a minor decline, starting at 4.1M and decreasing to 3.9M by late September.
